Matthew S. Bennett

Matthew Bennett was born in Baltimore MD.  He currently resides in Jacksonville Fl with his wife, two children and a dog that he hates.   

Matthew has been painting with oils for fifteen years.  He is an award-winning artist who has shown his paintings and drawings in numerous art galleries. His work also hangs in private collections in the United States and Japan.

Matthew’s art focuses mainly on the human figure which he finds endlessly fascinating.  His influences vary greatly from past geniuses such as Michaelangelo and John Singer Sargent to comic book artists such as Frank Miller and Bernie Wrightson.
